Welcome to the New and Exciting season of Adventure 2008. This is our first year in Northern Colorado. We are starting off with one Wild Adventure Sprint Race which will consist of one sprint race.
The adventure races will consist of mountain biking, trail running, and kayaking. All races will be held in Fort Collins with never ending trails that will test your skills in multi-sports. All boats, oars, and life jackets will be provided. You just need to bring your bike, helmet, running shoes, and whatever food and liquids that you need.
The Sprint Race will be 2 person teams and will consist of 3 different parts to the race which will include about a 20 mile mountain bike ride on the Blue Sky and Devils Backbone trails, about a 4 mile trail run loop in Lory state park , and a kayak portion that will be in Inlet Bay at Horsetooth Reservoir. There will be a water buoy placed in the bay that you will paddle to and then you will turn around and come back to the buoy. This will be a total of 3-6 hours for the entire race.
Directions to Registration and Start/Finish: From I-25 take the Harmony exit and go West towards the mountains. Harmony turns into CR 38. Continue on that road until you get to Inlet Bay, which is also Shoreline Dr., follow that road until you get Soderberg Trail Head on the West side of the road. There will be race signs at each corner where you will turn with arrows pointing you in the right direction. If you need more information on directions call Jeremy at 970-631-3734.
